Review:
Nibbles & Bites this year was AWESOME. Matt performed solo on the main stage to close the first day. Just as it was getting dark, matt took the stage in front of the huge crowd of hungry Richmond folks, and played like he's never played before! Looking great with new jet black hair, a black t-shirt and pink belt, Matt performed a mix of old and new. Kicking it off with a bouncy A SONG 4 U the audience really got a taste of Matt's interesting style. Next came DON'T MAKE A SOUND and matt really let it rip for this one! Screaming at the top of his lungs he belted out beautiful lyrics: "I'll tell you my secret, if you promise to keep it, but for now but for now oh no don't make a sound" words to live by really!
A Lei-bound Brad Pedwell joined Matt onstage to get the audience bopping to BURN THE BLACK DRESS, and they rocked out together to RESTITUTION. Other highlights of the show were the covers, Neil Young's AFTER THE GOLDRUSH, and Cat Stevens' SITTING which closed the show, however matt hailed an encore from his eager adoring crowd and played a touching version of 2NITE to send the audience home.
