Review:

    Matt & Jenn's second show at Hudson's pub was great! An awesome crowd enjoyed their musical stylings (which were much tighter than last weeks!) as they ploughed their way through gorgeous original's such as matt's ARTHUR LAING BRIDGE, HEADACHE, and GRACIOUS, and jenn's WALKIN' WOUNDED, WHEN YOU FALL, and CAN HE BE. The highlight was the upbeat and intense THE SLOW & PAINFUL DEATH OF MATTHEW PRESIDENTE which really showed the two artists having fun, as well as the powerhouse CRAWL which had Jenn singing brilliantly!
    The covers tonight were beautiful as well... the beatles' ELENOR RIGBY was very dark and brooding, while ani difranco's INDEPENDENCE DAY was simple and beautiful. Leonord Cohen's FAMOUS BLUE RAINCOAT was also a favourite amongst the crowd! All in all, a fantastic show!
