Review:

    Friends gathered around the fire - that was the theme of tonight's show! Vancouver city had a freak snowstorm, and the town is frozen! Many people had a difficult time getting out and about, so tonight's show reflected the mood. There was a small intimate crowd, but along with his friends Kacie and Helen, Matt did a wonderful show.
    A lot of interesting songs were performed, including two Leonard Cohen tunes: TOWER OF SONG, and HALLELUJAH (both featured Helen and Kacie doing backups and they sounded awesome together!) Matt and Helen did a racy version of the Rolling Stone's DEAD FLOWERS, and Kacie brought down the house with SEASONS OF LOVE as usual! The solo stuff was good too, Matt sang Meat Loaf's BAT OUT OF HELL, did three tunes from 'the world is watching you' as an intro (RED LIGHT, BURN THE BLACK DRESS, and WORLD IS WATCHING) and finished the show with an acoustic 4BIDDEN LOVE complete with rap!
