Review:

    The first show of 2007 was interesting! There was a very small crowd for much of it, but attentive and supportive nevertheless! The energy of tonight's show was rare and special! Stephen Emery added a really nice touch to set one with his funky guitar! He joined matt on SAVANA and ORIGIN OF LOVE which sounded beautiful. He also did amazing covers of Talking Head's PSYCHO KILLER, and Johnny Cash's FOLSOM PRISON BLUES. Kacie was lovely as always especially on her gorgeous solo number BARE WALLED SANCTUARY. Perhaps the biggest surprise of the night was a performance of FEELIN' GOOD by matt... usually this is a duet between him & brad pedwell... but tonight matt just played it alone, for the first time in almost a year.
