Review:

    The opening night of Groovebox was fun! Xmas day! Lots of wonderful people in the audience enjoying the show which consisted mostly of a new sound (a roland groovebox which adds beats and loops to the mix) and a few new songs. Mixed in were some Xmas carols and some old favourites. Trish Trash hosted the show and looked incredible. There was a small segment of Naughty Xmas carols which included a very dirty JINGLE BALLS by Byron & Uncle Johnny, A NUMBERS CABARET XMAS ('07 version) by Trish and Matt, and DUFFERIN NIGHTS (an ode to the dufferin pub, to the tune of American Pie) by Matt. Gemma Veronica did a burlesque dance to ALL I WANT FOR XMAS IS YOU by Mariah Carey, and the crowd loved it!
