Review:
Pride 2008! Matthew had the honour of being asked to close down the mainstage for Vancouver's 30th annual pride festival in English Bay. It was a gorgeous day and after the parade the beach & park were filled with thousands of people. The mainstage was rockin. Many great performers were featured including Simone Denny (of C+C Music Factory, and Love Inc.), Kim Kuzma, Fans of Jimmy Century, Jerome Mandrake, and Norine Braun. Matthew performed as the final act, and joined by Kacie Wallace and Hazen rice played a lovely acoustic set for the crowd. The whole event was swelling with pride and the gang was thankful to be such an integral part of it.
