Review:

    The early part of the night brought a fun, solo show in Ladner at the popular coffee house Kofecana! Matt played three sets interspersed with poems and stories by his friend and performance partner Leonora Record. He was joined by Leonora in the third set for a few numbers, and by her daughter Rose Record to sing Angel and As I go Along.
    To fit the coffee house setting, Matt included many covers in his set tonight including the police's WRAPPED AROUND YOUR FINGER, the Beatles SOMETHING, cat stevens' SITTING, and two jazz classics STRANGE FRUIT and AUTUMN LEAVES! Matt also performed a number of new songs INSECURE/IMMATURE as well as WORLD IS WATCHING! A fun night in a fun setting - later this very night Matt and Leonora are on Radio Bandcouver as well! Also, the next day is AN EVENING OF FIRE so it's a big weekend for all performers.
