Review:

    One of Matt's biggest shows yet took place at the gorgeous Firehall Centre for the Arts! Matt played an hour long Solo set at a grand piano with guest Leonora Record! Leonora kicked off the night with some inventive Spoken-Word art, and then Matt performed his set for the audience of 50.
    The setting was amazing, the lights and sound were great, and the performance was one of his best! Starting off upbeat with WORLD IS WATCHING, THE COUNTRY SONG, and PRIORITY Matt got the audience into the show from the beginning. Other highlights of the evening were the cover tunes - the old jazz standard AUTUMN LEAVES sounded particularly impressive on the grand, Cat Stevens' SITTING for the last number, and George Harrison's SOMETHING was a beautiful moment. Matt was joined by Rose Record for ANGEL and AS I GO ALONG, and by Leonora Record on her pieces BLINK and BEACH AT THE MOUTH OF THE RIVER. What a great show! Look out soon for mp3s!
