Review:

    Viva Libra! The Libra room on commercial drive was packed tonight for the Jeff Straker show - Matthew did a fabulous opening set (at the acoustic piano w/ Kacie Wallace doing backups). Their 40min set included mostly new material, and a few old bouncy favourites (A SONG 4 U, WORLD IS WATCHING). They debuted a brand new one, I AM AN OCEAN, to close the show. A huge crescendo at the end of this song had Kacie singing in octaves not known to man, and Matthew bashing away on the piano like never before. Jeff Straker's performance was stellar - all in all an incredible night!
