Review:
Matthew closed down New Westminster's successful 2nd annual pride festival. Unfortunately the set time (late in the afternoon) meant that the bulk of the crowd had gone home and Matthew played a condensed acoustic set for the small mellow crowd. The plan was to do a full 40min set with the full groovebox/dance setup. The acoustic set worked nicely and was high energy. Kicking it off with a thumpin' RAINBOW REACTION Matthew kept things moving through his solo version of 4U2BM9 (the next single!) and a beautiful version of WHY WHY WHY for his dear mother. FAMILY DOWN and HEADACHE rounded out the set and finished off the event.
