I’m going on tour in May! I’ll be hitting the road and travelling BC for the Sun & Stars Tour. This will be a province-wide journey showcasing my new album ‘Chosen Sun’ along with some deep cuts and beloved cover songs. Expect an evening of captivating original music and interactive audience requests in a ‘piano bar’ style.
The Sun & Stars Tour will visit iconic venues across Vancouver Island, Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley! I will be joined by Canadian folk-rock artist Kele Fleming for a double bill.

About the Artists:
Vancouver’s piano man, Matthew Presidente (He/Him/His) is a bold rock/pop songwriter. Whether performing solo or with his full band, the high energy piano-based performer connects with the crowd through passionate performances.
Referred to as “one of — if not — the best singer/songwriters our LGBT scene has” by Xtra Magazine (Vancouver), Matty left his career to pursue music full-time in 2022 – since then, he released 8 singles, toured BC, and received a Creative BC Career Development grant to fund a new recording. In 2023/24 he performed over 200 shows, including notable venues The Fox, The Rickshaw, Guilt & Co, The Shipyards and The Hollywood. He has been enthusiastically recognized on Pride stages across BC and Alberta and co-wrote/performed a musical for Kelowna Fringe with drag artist Toddy.
Matthew’s full length album ‘Chosen Sun’ was released January 2025 with songs speaking of life changes, queer empowerment and personal evolution. The album includes the singles, ‘The Rhythm’, ‘Rainbow Tree’, ‘Washington’ and ‘Different Dreams’ now on all streaming platforms.

Victoria folk-rock and sometimes synth wave artist Kele Fleming (she/they) is the distinct love child of Linda Perhacs and Ani DiFranco. She’s 70’s psychedelic, feministic, intelligent- quoting Darwin and Foucault mid song. Kele’s dynamic vocals range from choir girl naivete to raging Sinead O’Connor.
Profound lyrics that are more like call to actions, angry at humanity’s sad state of affairs. These are potent and important protest songs that rage against our indifference and apathy. Perfect for discerning and open-minded crowds, who have taste for authenticity and a pallet for the truth. Kele is currently recording a new album with Juno and Western Canadian Music Award winning engineer, Sheldon Zaharko. The new album is slated for release later this year.
