Here are some photos from our session at Hipposonic Studios!
After a few years of writing and reflecting on a world of changes I’ve started recording my new album! I hit the famous Vancouver Hipposonic Studios at the end of May to lay down the bones for all the tracks. With the help of the talented band (Brad Pedwell playing guitars, Mikey Chamzuk on drums and Ian Malinski on bass) we got down 8 new songs all fronted by a gorgeous Yamaha grand piano. Liam Moes was our sound engineer and it was a thrill to record with him in a room where many amazing records were made (Livin’ on a prayer!) and so many legends have created music (Metallica, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Lauren Hill, The Tragically Hip, Sarah McLachlan to name a few).
Details will be coming very soon but I can tell you now that the first single will be called ‘A-LIST’ and I will be sharing it this summer! Expect the rest of the album late in the year 🙂
